Homework Banner

untitled

Here's How It Works...

This is the homework banner.  With out new PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support) system, we now keep track of homework in another way.  At the beginning of each month, all students start on the green banner.  Each time a student forgets the needed supplies or homework, their number is moved to the right.  As was before, students will come home with a late slip informing you each time.  Late slips also have a new look.  They are now orange and a full sheet.  Continue to sign these and return them with the homework when you see them. After 3 late slips, or moves on the banner, a Minor will be given.  A Minor is another form to document behavior.  Of course, There are rewards too!  Students who stay on green will be rewarded with a homework pass and 2 Hawk Bucks at the end of the month.  One move (yellow) gives them one Hawk Buck.  The system has been explained to the students and has been implemented already for the month of November.
