Order Your Hawthorne Yearbook Today!

Have you purchased a Hawthorne yearbook for your student?  The Hawthorne Yearbook "Cool to be Kind" captures the fun-filled school year in a softcover book with colored pictures. The students love seeing pictures of themselves in the yearbook and collecting signatures from their classmates! Yearbooks will be delivered to the student during the last full week of the school year.
Before you place your order, please check the 'Yearbook Orders' list in the locker on the left to make sure you haven’t already ordered.  If you mistakenly order more than one book for a child please contact Lisa O'Connor at lisaoconnor33@gmail.com for a refund.  You will not be contacted for a refund as in past years.  Extra yearbooks not refunded will be donated to a child in financial need.  If you do want to order multiple yearbooks for a child please contact Lisa so your extra yearbook isn't donated.  If you have questions, please contact Lisa O'Connor.

Prang Power

For the past two years, we have collected the Dixon Ticonderoga pencil boxes that are distributed with the school supplies ordered through the Hawthorne PTA in order to save the Prang Power points on each box.  This year Mr. Wesseler used the points earned to order art supplies from Dixon for Hawthorne School.  The items ordered included 15 Tempera Cake Sets, 10 Half Pan Watercolor Paint Sets, and 21 Art Marker Sets.  The attached picture shows all the great FREE items that we earned.

Thanks for your help with this program!

Help Finish the Bottle Cap Mosaic!

The PTA Go Green Committee needs more plastic bottle caps to finish the three-panel mosaic that was started last spring during Earth Week. We need these colors: BLUES, GREENS, BROWNS, GRAYS, PURPLES & BLACK from milk jugs, beverage bottles - you name it! Please wash caps thoroughly in warm, soapy water. No nut butter caps please. A collection bin is in the main hallway.
